(1)
The shuttles are clearly marked as being from Emory (most are white
with blue lettering).
(2)
There are fewer shuttle-runs in the afternoon than in the morning,
as many participants will depart for the airport from Emory (rather
than from the hotels).
(3)
The Emory shuttles each seat 30 persons. These shuttles are designed
for intra-city transportation and not for airport service; that is,
they do not have spacious luggage racks. As a result, those bringing
substantial amounts of luggage to Emory should take a cab at their
own expense.
(4)
The shuttle-runs at 7:30 a.m. are primarily for the Meaning &
Measurement participants, as their MiniConference starts early and
meets in Tarbutton Hall (see Campus
Directions).
(5)
The times for the afternoon shuttle-runs are staggered, thereby accommodating
those who must leave before either MiniConference is finished.
(6)
Those departing directly from Emory will pay for their own cab or
airport-shuttle service. Checker
Cab apparently has a $35 flat rate fee for travel from Emory to
Hartsfield Airport, while A-Perimeter (404-761-0260) sometimes has
a shuttle service for $19 per person. For other possibilities, click

Several individuals have reported their respective flight times, and
for the most part, shuttles have been pre-arranged for them. The shuttles
will depart from 1555 Pierce Drive, directly in front of Tarbutton
Hall (see Campus
Directions). The cost is $19 per person; if a shuttle is filled
with 10 people, the cost is $15 per person. Here is the schedule for
these pre-arranged shuttles:
