Congratulations to Dr. Franziska Bieri (From Conflict Diamonds to the Kimberley Process: How NGOs Reshaped a Global Industry, advisor: Dr. John Boli) and Dr. Nikki Khanna (Living Life in Black and White: Identity Formation among Black-White Biracial Americans, advisor: Dr. Cathryn Johnson) for completing the Emory Sociology Phd program!  In fall 2008, Dr. Bieri will begin as an Assistant Professor at North Georgia College & State University.  Dr. Khanna is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Vermont.
